Nichole is amazing!

Picture overload!
A couple weeks ago, I went up to Nichole's and she took these pics of Halle. We had so much fun! We were laughing so hard because she kept making the funniest little faces. Nichole is so good and I love Ever! Anytime she would notice Halle she would book it over and try to grab her. It was hilarious. These are some of my favs, I can't wait to see the rest of the pics. You're going to have to wait for my VERY favorite, because it's being saved for her birth announcement.

Also I need addresses ASAP! Email them to me

Happy Holidays???

I apoligize in advance, this post is anything but sugar coated. I don't know about any of you, but my life is far from perfect and all I can say is when it rains, it pours! These past couple months have been full of... well let's just say they've been full. What's been going on? Everything from medical issues with Jon, Hobbes getting hit by a car, having Halle (do not get me wrong, she is by far the biggest blessing in my life! I'm just saying that having a baby is a major life changing event) , then Jon lost his job so I ended up going back to work 3 weeks after having Halle, AND to add the icing to the cake, last night as we were driving home someone HIT US. Major snow storm and they lost control of their vehicle and SLAMMED into ours. I have never been that scared, Halle started screaming when it happened, I started bawling. Good thing Jon kept a level head, it was quite the ordeal. Everyone is ok, Halle calmed down after a while. It just scared her really bad. Good thing we have our Peg Perego Carseat. (Thanks again Daddy, Halle was safe because of your gift). It took the paramedics over 1/2 hour to get there and the sheriff wasn't there for another hour after that. Our car is mangled. We're still waiting on insurance info since it was the other persons fault.

I am NOT a complainer (usually) but really.....
It's just a little hard to get into the christmas spirit.

Happy Birthday To Us

Wow! Time flies. I didn't realize how long it's been since my last post until I was talking to my mom today and she mentioned the pics of Halle were over 2 weeks old. Whoops. Some fun things we've been up to lately. The Couture vs. Lesnar UFC fight @ Robin's with Rori & Doug and fam, BYU vs. Utah (let's just not talk about that one), and combined family birthday party @ the Steak House (thank you grandma) November is quite the month for birthdays in our families. Halle starts it off on the 1st, Jon's is the 17th and mine is tomorrow (the 26th). Not too mention Nana (the 14th), Erin (the 10th) and Jen (the 6th). It's pretty crazy. Other than all that not too much going on here, just adjusting to life as parents. We're pretty lucky, she already sleeps about 7 hours a night. However I need some advice... the nursing is not going so well. I am just not producing enough milk and I just started supplementing her with formula a couple days ago. I don't know what to do. Did anyone else have this problem? I feel like i'm not ready to be done breastfeeding yet. Any knowledge/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Still loving bath time, I love this little robe.

1 Week Already

This week has flown by, I guess we can thank the lack of sleep for that. I never ever thought I would love being a mom this much!

She always sucks on her bottom lip

Constantly playing with her hands, she's totally a thumb sucker

First bath @ home

Haha! LOVE this face, look at that chub!

Grandma's so nice to teach me how to bathe a baby in the sink

Right after her bath, she's so happy when she's naked

Thank you thank you whoever invented the binki!

Go Cougs!! All wrapped up in the blanket I made her/Jon.

Halle Jeanne Lambert

She's here!!!
Halle Jeanne Lambert
November 1st, 2008 6:16pm
8lbs. 6oz.
21" Long
Yes people, you are reading that right. Apparently I have pretty big babies, especially surprising because I was told I would have a 6.5lb baby! She is perfect. We love her so much! She has been SO good, she isn't fussy, breastfeeding has been a breeze and she's sleeping so well. Halle especially loves baths and having her diaper changed! I think it's so funny.

Can't figure out why this one is upside down

Proud daddy (and his awesome bed head!)

Minutes after birth. I LOVE her red lips!

My AWESOME nurse!

One of the many positions they had me in to try to move her! This was even after the epidural, I could totally still feel my legs and everything. It was nice!

So tired

Don't know why this one is sideways....
The Birth
Friday night (Halloween) Jon and I decided it was time to go into the hospital. I was over my due date and for the past 2 days I had been having a really hard time breathing and had this constant headache, which was really strange for me because I NEVER get headaches. Not to mention all the swelling, everything from my feet to my nose was significantly wider. We got to the hospital and they checked all my vitals and my blood pressure was 140/70! This was EXTREMELY unusual for me, my blood pressure hadn't gone above 90/52 this entire pregnancy. So they called my doc and checked again and it was 160/70. It was determined that I had preeclampsia so they told me I was having this baby ready or not. I was SO ready :). They started me on pitocin because I was only dilated to a 3 and hadn't been progressing although I was 95% effaced. After a little bit I got the epidural, which was awesome! Seriously people, I don't know what all the fuss is about, I would get one everyday if they'd let me. I ended up with a fever after my water broke so they gave me antibiotics and put an internal monitor in to check her heartbeat. Also she was faced up and would not move regardless of what position I was in so the doctor had to manually reach up there and turn her! That was probably the worst pain I felt. After that I pushed for about and hour and Halle was born! I barely tore so they put 2 stitches in me just in case.Labor/Delivery was great, I would do it again tomorrow.

What's New? Pictures coming soon

Worst blogger.... ever? Quite possibly. Lately I have been sooooo overwhelmed with life. I feel like so much has gone on since my last post. Here's the skinny.

September went something like this

* OKLAHOMA. Whooo wooo. Hahaha, Jonathan, myself, sister Mariah, sister Kendra, J and baby Ret all flew out to Ponca City, Oklahoma for a family reunion. Not going to lie, we actually had a really good time. We caught up with family we haven't seen in YEARS and everyone got along so well. The majority of the time was spent just catching up and eating at some interesting (not so much tasty) places. Also the BYU game was watchable from the hotel so I had a happy husband. Kendra has the pictures from this, so I am just waiting on her to share the wealth :).

* 2 year anniversary! Yay... too bad we were in Oklahoma for a family reunion. Hahaha. We're just SO romantic.

* We moved, yup. 4th time since we've been married. We're pretty much all settled, just need Jon to put up the beadboard in babies room and I will happily post pictures :).

* Jill and Scott welcomed little Sam into the world. I love this little boy. He's a miniture Scottie!

* Rori had little Landry. Such a pretty pretty baby girl!

* Baby Showers. It was so nice of family/friends to throw these for me. Baby got some very cute stuff.

So far October has gone a little like this.

* Another (final) baby shower.

* Our little Hobbers got hit by a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some jack a** just hit him and drove off, after dragging him under the car! I am crying right now typing this. Poor little guy. He got out and we couldn't find him all day/night so the next day we called the animal shelter and sure enough the driver behind the guy that hit Hobbes saw the whole thing happen and called Animal Services (his tags had been ripped off while he was being dragged). He's so lucky and we're so blessed. No broken bones, just badly beat up. Poor little guy can't even walk on his back legs. We're just happy he's ok.

*And to end on a good note, at my doctors appointment yesterday it turns out our little girl has dropped into position. I am dilated to a 1.5 and 70% effaced. Crazy how things are going. Still no stretchmarks (knock on wood) but I am HUGE. I am really debating even posting a pic later. My stomach is ginormous. Jon always looks at me and says "I don't know how you're stomach hasn't exploded". We're looking forward to meeting our little girl, and hopefully settling on a name sometime after we see her :). I've still got my favs and Jonathan has his.

Kinda boring without pics, but I know I haven't posted FOREVER. Just a little update for family and friends.

Proof!

See told you I was preggers! Here's my belly at 28 weeks. It's crazy how a few weeks ago I wasn't so much "showing", but ta da, one day I just woke up and little missy had decided to shift forward. Before I was carrying posterior (the doctor still says I am, that'll be fun come labor) but atleast she's off my sciatic nerve 24/7! I have to admit, it's nice being asked when i'm expecting or what i'm having by people now. Before I swear they all just looked at me wondering why I had this awkward beer gut and had let myself go. Even my sister in law said to me the other day "oh yay, you finally look pregnant instead of just fat". Minus that last part, it was kind of a compliment. I think she means well. As inspired by Brianna, i've decided to share what I do enjoy about pregnancy. I feel like all I do is complain, so here we go.

Things I Enjoy about Being Pregnant

*When I can see the baby move, Jon and I will just sit there and watch her. It's kinda creepy but I love it!
*Still fitting into all my pants (the bella band makes it SO comfortable). Honestly I'm just happy I haven't had to waste money on maternity crap yet, and I get to save that money to buy cute stuff for our little girl!
*That Kendra just got a job at the CUTEST baby boutique and I get a nice little discount. It's in Kaysville and is called Cuddle Haven. Check it out!
*The satisfaction I get everytime I remind Jon that he's going to have a little girl. (He still SO wants a boy)
*Not having to suck in my gut... not that I could if I wanted to.
*Indulging in all the girly things, I have wanted to do a feminine room for so long and now I have an excuse. My baby's room.
*Finally justifying a Petunia Picklebottom bag. I have wanted one for so long.
*My sweets cravings. I have never been a big sweets lover, normally I do not enjoy ice cream and cookies and all that junk. But now I love 'em all so i'll take it while I can.

All in all, I will say that I am mos def not one of those people who LOVE being pregnant. In fact I can't see me doing this again anytime within the next 4-5 years, and conveinantly I told Jon that that is how long the doctor said I had to wait before we could start trying again, pretty sure he doesn't buy it but i'm sticking with it! Some days I enjoy it and others I'm so ready to be done with all of the weird aches and sharp pains that come from nowhere, the crazy anxiety I have all of a sudden about everything, running out of breath for no good reason, my swelling feet and hands after being out in the heat, these crazy ass mood swings and still throwing up on a weekly basis. Oh well, only 80 some odd days more of this.... and then things get really crazy :).

I don't think she'll ever have a name

Why does it seem like EVERYONE I talk to (who is expecting, obviously) already knows exactly what they are going to name their child?? Jon and I canNOT agree on anything. Everytime we think we have come to some sort of conclusion, one of us decides within a couple of days that we hate it. We want something unique but not weird, you know so she doesn't go to school with 5 other girls with the same name? So far these names have come and gone

Halle
(don't hate it, don't LOVE it)
Rylie
(decided it sounded too much like the made up name my sister gave her kid, "Retlee")
Cadence
(But what would we call her for short?? Cady... come on! That's MY name)
Chloe
(again, don't love it)
Reese
(this one is my fav, but Jon's not so hot on it)
AND if Jon had his way Sevin
(like from Seinfeld, and no people, this is not a joke. I get mixed reviews, some love it some hate it. We would call her Sevi. The more I hear it the less I hate it, but I just don't want her to get made fun of)
And don't even get me started on the middle name. I want it to mean something and Jon couldn't care less. My middle name is after my grandma and I want to stay with family tradition. I don't know why, but I get anxiety way bad about this. I just wish we had her name settled on. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE has anyone else had this hard of a time with this? And please if anyone has suggestions let me know, we are almost desperate at this time.

Oh my teeny bopper overload!

Monday night I went to the American Idols Live Tour. Jon's mom bought us all tickets, although Jon would not be caught dead there so it was just me along with his mom and dad, his sisters, my brother in law and the 5 MILLION screaming little teeny boppers just waiting for a peice of that David Archuleta. Chickezie started it off and was SO boring, then Ramiele... Also SO boring (but atleast she's cute), Michael Johns did so so so so good. He did a couple Aerosmith songs and I liked them better than the originals, he was my favorite of the night. Carly was awesome, her voice is so powerful. Then Kristy Lee Cook came on thinking she was hotter than Shania Twain... I ALWAYS hated her, I don't know how she made it as far as she did OR how she was considered the "hot" one. You can imagine I was even more bugged when she actually didn't suck. She was much better than she ever was on the show, but I still can't stand her. Brooke was cute but so cheezy, as usual. Jason Castro started off singing Over The Rainbow and I really liked it, he has a Jason Mraz feel. David Archuleta did amazing, he's just so cute. He sang awesome songs, including When you Say you Love Me by Josh Groban. It was so hard to hear him because everyone (even the 50 year old ladies behind us) were screaming SO effing loud!! He even got all teary and choked up. Last but not least was David Cook, I was never his biggest fan but he did good. I think by that time (3 1/2 hours later) I was just SO ready to go home. My back was killing me thanks to the lovely chairs and I had the worst headache thanks to the 13 year old girls (and boys for that matter). I felt like such a grandma. I don't think i'll ever go to a concert again while i'm pregnant :).

Really preparing for baby

Atleast that's what Jon says :). Say hello to our newest ventute into debt. Hahaa, actually we got more than a steal on it and ended up paying LESS than we did for my car. We'd been looking around for a couple months now for an SUV and we're so so so blessed to find our new Pathfinder. It's an '05 (older than my sentra was) BUT it has less miles (only about 27,000) SCORE! Also it has so many nice features, not too mention 4 wheel drive. Looks like i'm fully invested into being a mommy and living in the north pole.

Plus i'm pretty sure Jon loves driving around in something that doesn't so much resemble a chick car. Haha! Love you baby!

My bellers

Ok, I know it doesn't look like much but I swear to you it feels huge. I snapped this pic today, i'm 22 1/2 weeks. I feel her moving and kicking like crazy, Jon can even feel her now (he's already suggesting jiu jitsu). Sometimes she sits on my sciatic nerve and I have been waking up during the night because my back hurts so bad. I don't know how i'm going to manage life when I actually have a big basketball to carry around! I'm not complaining though, my clothes are all still fitting which means I haven't ventured into maternity wear yet. Lucky the style is longer and flowey shirts, hopefully i'll never have to. Oh and looks like the "morning sickness" is finally letting up, i've only had 2 bad days in the past 2 weeks! I'm SO looking forward to the time when I can actually keep things down, turns out I have a cracked rib from throwing up so hard!! Needless to say, it'll be a LONG LONG while before pregnancy is even a thought again, i've already talked to the doc about an IUD ASAP!

sugar & spice & everything nice...

Pretty much everyone guessed right! We're so excited... well I can say Jon is *more* excited now. He had the ultrasound tech check more than once just to make sure it wasn't a boy. Did anyone else go through this?? In retrospec it's pretty funny but during the ultrasound I wanted to punch him! He was in complete denial and all he could say was "what am I going to do with a girl?". It's been over a week and he's accepted that yes we're having a girl and has started putting input into the nursery. He even went baby shopping with me this weekend. We've started thinking of names (since Jon wouldn't even humor me before we found out it was a girl). However we don't fully agree on anything. I'm totally open to input here... anyone have any good ideas??
Sorry no ultrasound pics, she was moving around so much that all of the still frames aren't so great. The actual DVD of the ultrasound is amazing! The ultrasound tech put it in 3D for awhile, but she was moving so much it's kinda blurry (and not too mention pretty creepy:)).
As for now i've picked out the crib, it's at Babinsky's and I LOVE IT. I've also narrowed down everything from the carseat to the highchair (doesn't hurt to be prepared.) I am having the HARDEST time with bedding, it seems like everything I would actually consider is around the $600 price point. Forget that! If anyone knows of any good places to get baby bedding let me know.
Oh on a side note, anyone else read the first chapter of BREAKING DAWN??? I can email it to you if not....

Quick Post

To let all know that i'm still alive and everything is going so good! I'm back up here in Salt Lake and have been for a while, sorry I didn't realize it's been OVER a MONTH since my last post! Major slacker!! I've been busy busy. Kendra had her baby a couple weeks ago, she's really cute.

Retlee Maree Manzanares

More pictures are to come of her!

Also we find out the sex of the baby on MONDAY!! I'm SO SO SO excited. Everything with the pregnancy is still going really good. No i'm still not showing, in fact I still weigh less than I did before I was pregnant. We can thank the (STILL) throwing up daily for that. Actually I lied, it has subsided some. I only throw up most days :). I can't wait for it all it go away, but I will tell you this much. It will be a LONG LONG time before I do all of this again.

4.22.2008

what to expect??

So about my appointment yesterday.... It was SO awesome! Much much much better than I would ever expect! My doctor is the nicest person I have ever met. She was so sweet and so funny. Something so important, because let's face it, this woman is all up in your business! Her office is in the new IMC in Murray, and they have this whole women & newborn center, another plus. That place is SO nice, i'm actually excited to deliver my baby there! We got to hear the heartbeat and actually see the little bug. It was so cool and Jon looked like a kid in a candy store! The babies heart was racing, it was at 170! I measured 12 weeks exactly and she moved my due date to Nov. 3rd. However she told me not to get to comfortable with the idea of a November baby because she wasn't going to let me go to term because i'm so small and that I should plan on having a little pumpkin baby. Works for me :). She asked about my hyperemesis and actually wrote me another prescription. It's for reglan and I haven't tried that, so HOPEFULLY it works! So sick, but yesterday when I was driving I couldn't even make it over to the side of the road in time and just threw up all over myself. It was awful! But kinda funny too. Haha!

After the exam and ultrasound and all that we were talking and I told her I had been reading What to Expect when You're Expecting. She looked at me and said, please throw that away! I was so shocked! She told me that it was one of the worst books a low risk first time mother could read because all it does is tell you what could go wrong. This actually made me feel so much better because I have been a total stress case about this pregnancy, i've been worrying way to much about what could go wrong. I swear all I do is ask Jon to give me a blessing like everyday! It was really comforting to hear that I wasn't crazy and that everything with this pregnancy is totally normal. All in all, it was one of my favorite experiences. It all feels so much more real now, I keep just thinking about this little bug inside me.

Sunny St.George

So i've been chilling here in St.George. I came down to work for my mom,
seeing as working a "real" job has been impossible because of my "morning sickness".
Can I just say that I am SO SICK OF BEING SICK! I can NOT remember the last time
I went more than a couple hours without throwing up. Zofran even stopped working,
I can't even keep it down. I got some sea bands and have been wearing those around
for a couple weeks. Yeah, I know I look SUPER COOL (they just look like 80's sweatbands).
They seem to help though.St.George has been wonderful though, it's been nice to just hang
out with my mom and sisters. I've also gone to Desert Hills Highschool Cheer practices,
Cassidy has an amazing squad!! I'm so excited for her. Jocelyn was there on wednesday
night too, so it's been so fun to see people I haven't seen for so long.
They both look amazing!!
On another note, I have a doctors appointment on monday. We get to hear the babies
heartbeat and have our first ultrasound. I'm already in my fourth month, so I guess i'm a little
behind on all this but we really wanted to get in with this doctor and she wasn't accepting
new patients. So we're just super lucky we get to see her at all!
I feel like i'm going to be doing quite a bit of commuting between St.George and Salt Lake,
but it's not a bad drive. I could do it with my eyes closed. The hardest part is
being without Jon for so long. He has been SO wonderful lately, gets me breakfast in bed
(just so I can throw it up later) but it really helps. He rubs my back, plays with my hair,
and has just been so sweet. I miss him alot, and it's funny how he has even resorted to
letting Hobbes sleep with him on our bed while i'm gone. He must REALLY miss me,
he usually doesn't even let Hobbes in our room.
Sorry this is super long, so i'll end it now. If anyone is in St.George call or come by Brushfire, i'd love to get together :).

Look what I found

So I have passed these places for the past nearly 2 years without much thought. Really, they just looked nasty ghetto to me. On Saturday I went with my mother in law to run some errands and we ended up here. They have the best produce! Reminds me almost of being at Farmers Market in Santa Cruz (too bad it's still snowing up here, so who knows when that will start). We left with

2 pineapples

several grapefruits

10 apples

4 pears

several oranges

2 mangoes

2 bundles of asparagus

and 1 1/2 CASES of fresh strawberries

All this was under $30! I was amazed, at my usual harmons I wouldn't even start to guess what that would have cost. I don't really know where they are, maybe just up here in the Salt Lake valley. If you can, do go. I highly recommend! I was so happy to fill up on produce, for some reason citrus fruits help my "morning" sickness SO much. Typically on days I have a grapefruit or orange, I do not throw up after eating one. So weird. Also we're not just obsessed with strawberries, they we're on sale so in between conferences Jon's mom taught us how to make her strawberry jam. I would NEVER even think of attempting this, but it was so easy. Jon is super picky and will only eat his mom's (or grandma's) strawberry jam. I think we're good for about another year :). I also made some yummy fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade to go with last nights dinner. This coming from the girl who gets confused making toast. Watch out Martha!

Proud big sis

She made it!!! My little sister Jenni and her bestie Kaity Read tried out for cheer at the new Desert Hills Highschool.... and made it! I'm so proud of them! I simply couldn't leave Kaity out, she has been like another little sister to me since I can remember. These girls have always loved cheer, some of you may remember them from the cheer clinics they attended year after year. Jenni has been on allstars for quite a while and has gotten really good. She's so cute! What can I say? I'm just a proud big(well older) sister. Go Thunder!

They're such nerds!

I don't know what you guys are paying for gasoline.... but here in California we are paying up to $3.75 to $4.10 per gallon. My line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every gallon:

Here at the Kinder Morgan Pipeline where I work in San Jose, CA we deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period thru the pipeline. One day is diesel the next day is jet fuel, and gasoline, regular and premium grades. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons.

Only buy or fill up your car or truck in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground the more dense the gasoline, when it gets warmer gasoline expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening....your gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products plays an important role.

A 1-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

When you're filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to a fast mode. If you look you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. You should be pumping on low mode, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you're getting less worth for your money.

One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is HALF FULL. The reason for this is the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster than you can imagine. Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the gas and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated so that every gallon is actually the exact amount.

Another reminder, if there is a gasoline truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy gas, DO NOT fill up; most likely the gasoline is being stirred up as the gas is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

WHERE TO BUY USA GAS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON:

Gas rationing in the 80's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even be good for us! The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor.

An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS.

Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends.

I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil.

Companies that import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell........................... 205,742,000 barrels

Chevron/Texaco......... 144,332,000 barrels

Exxon /Mobil............... 130,082,000 barrels

Marathon/Speedway... 117,740,000 barrels

Amoco............................62,231,000 barrels

Citgo gas is from South America, from a Dictator who hates Americans. If you do the math at $30/barrel, these exports amount to over $18 BILLION! (Oil is now $90 - $100 a barrel. Don’t buy from CITGO).

Companies that DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil:

Sunoco..................0 barrels

Conoco.. ................0 barrels

Sinclair.................0 barrels

B P/Phillips............0 barrels

Hess.......................0 barrels

ARC0....................0 barrels

If you go to Sunoco.com, you will get a list of the station locations near you.

All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

My Pregnancy Quest

I have found the best website for preggie gals!
Call me vain, superficial, whatev but I refuse to gain un-necessary weight with this pregnancy! Unlike others I cannot just drop weight by thinking about it, it takes work. Good thing i've always enjoyed being active and working out. Although I will never be one of those die hard mommy's who run marathon's @ 7 months knocked up! While google-ing random things about pregnancy health and exercise I ran across THIS BLOG. It's Kim(Telford)Guyton's pregnancy quest/journal. Does anyone remember her from highschool? Her blog sent me to the babyfit website and I am newly inspired. I feel like the biggest complainer lately. I have been so sick and all I do is throwup and sleep. I'm sick of this lifestyle, it's so not me! Anyway enough ranting for now. Just thought I would share some newfound knowledge with ya!

Preggers!!

Sorry, this pic isn't that great. I took it after the tests had been sitting there for a couple days. I was going to wait to post this for awhile, but word got out (jon is so excited he cannot keep his mouth shut) and I was afraid of running into someone and having them think that I am either

a. terminally ill

or

b. bulimic

It's official, I am pregnant. We were NOT trying and so I freaked at first! Condoms do NOT work (please heed the warning on the back of the box, you too could be one of the very small percentage) I swear it's like Friends when Ross knocks Rachel up. I feel bad saying that because I know there are people out there who try and try. I guess this was our time though, and we're SO EXCITED!! We found out last week and I am almost 2 months! So weird still. Our estimated due date is Nov. 6th! Another thing we kinda freaked about, from the last week in October to the first week in December we have 6 birthdays in our families, including mine and Jon's! Then Christmas... oh we're gonna be broke joke's!

Morning sickness has started with a vengeance! Ooooh, it's no good. I'm so sick all the time. I can't eat, and when I do it doesn't stay down. Kendra was the same way. Thanks to Nichole for all the helpful advise on what foods help and what not. She's been a BIG help, along with Rachael. I feel like I have the stomach flu all the time but the books say that's good because it means your body is accepting the baby. Other than that i've been feeling pretty normal, the bathroom and I have become best friends between throwing up and I pee like every 5 seconds! We'll be excited no matter what it is, however Jon is already praying for a boy (literally every night).

Any advice is freely welcomed (please), this is the first time I have ever been preggers so I still feel so lost, despite all the books/info from the internet I read. My first doctor's appointment isn't until April 21st!! I'll be 13 weeks. However the ob/gyn (she is my mother and sisters in law dr.) wasn't accepting new patients. Thanks to who I know I got in though. I am on a cancellation list though, so hopefully i'll get in sooner so she can prescribe something for this sickness!

chk check it out!

So try this. Promise you'll like it, 'specially if you're like me and find living without Diet Coke (or any other caffeinated beverage) un-bearable. It tastes nummy, then again I love green tea. You can't taste the green tea however in this, atleast that's what I think (and Jon agrees). You've gotta try the mocha. Sounds disgusting but so so good. I might be a little hooked... maybe just a little.

What do you think??

First & Foremost let me apoligize for the ridiculous pictures and lack of makeup. Ahaha, if you can't laugh at yourself then you live a sad life. That's all I have to say about though.

I am so sick of my hair, in fact I haven't had it done for 3 months!! That's probably the longest I have ever gone in my life. It's just a blah brown right now, just brown! I had it colored brown with the intention of later adding highlights but let's just say I never got around to it. Now i'm wanting someting more fun! RED.... what do you think?
Hate Ashlee Simpson but LOVE her new(er) color. Can I pull it off? I mean I am very fair, like glow in the dark! It's just how I am , blame my damn english heritage. Should I just stay dark brown? Blonde???? Ahhhh I love getting my hair done but lately I just can't decide what I want. I need help, advice, opinions!

Think Again

Before devouring that burger from some fast food joint, check this shiz out! Damn Skinny Bitch, I hate you for making me think again (or three or four or five times) before eating pretty much anything. I couldn't even touch my pasta last night (and I made it!) Just veggies and sauce for me. Let alone the entire week and half i've gone without my beloved diet coke. Ooooh.

This is my new everest. I have a 101 oz. water bottle , yes that's what I said 101 effing fluid ounces of aqua! Wow, not to say i've finished it in one day yet, but I do consume atleast 3/4.

On another note, am thinking about doing THE MASTER CLEANSE. Back when I worked at St.George Day Spa, the R.N. that did colonhydrotherapy was obssesed with this baby. Consistently informing us of the long term health benefits that come from doing the master cleanse. I'll keep ya posted on my progress, i.e. if I actually decide to do it!
